TASTE OF SUMMER

Inspiring imagination through hands-on activities and themed activities. Children will be able to explore and create using Science, Technology, Engineering Arts, Math.

COLORS

Discovering colors!! We will be learning about primary and secondary colors. Through mixing colors to make new colors along with many science projects to help us learn how color influences our daily lives.
June 10 - 14

LEGOS!

A week of building with Legos to get the STEM thoughts flowing. From gear bots and gadgets to chain reactions. This week will be filled with building challenges to keep their creative minds working.
June 17 - 21

WHAT'S COOKING?

We will be learning about healthy foods that make our bodies run. We will also be cooking up some fun eats and treats for their enjoyment and hopefully yours! Let’s not forget about safety!!!

ARTS

Children will be engaged in all forms of art from creative drawing, picture taking and printing to performing arts. Your child will be able to demonstrate their creative skills using and exploring with different mediums.)
*Grand Tots is closed on July 4th.

CHEMISTRY

We will explore chemistry experiments that will encourage problem solving and observation skills. We will learn about chemical reactions, osmosis and much more!

GEO/GEMS/ROCKS

Studying these natural objects we will have a better understanding about our earth. With many hands-on activities and experiments. As they say, “the world is our oyster”.

PHYSICS/ENGINEERING

We will be shifting gears and revving things up! Building simples machines, blasters, and robots

ULTIMATE GAMES

We’ll score some good old-fashioned fun by playing the best indoor and outdoor games of all time. Campers will be challenged to use their imaginations to make up a few of their own.

Weekly Themes of Summer 2024
We offer weekly themes, daily activities, and special projects throughout the summer.
Our summer days are spent splashing and exploring through fun activities and fieldtrips that are geared towards the developmental levels and interests of the children in the classrooms. We also love to keep our children very active physically by ensuring we offer experiences that promote active play both indoor and outdoor. Our program runs from June through August.
